Animal-lover ready to make friends
Pet care experience
I’ve been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember. More recently, I volunteered several hours a week at an animal shelter and have experience caring for and cleaning up after a wide variety of small animals, including cats and dogs.
Reviews
As one of the managers of a mid-sized rescue, I have occasion to interact with a lot of animal-loving volunteers. Elizabeth is hands-down one of the best! Besides clearly doting on any animal in her care, she's eager to cater to their physical and emotional health, respect their boundaries, and comply with care guidelines. She's ably assisted during our veterinary clinics and, of course, is experienced medicating and treating even scared or difficult animals. As a foster caregiver, she socialized feral kittens, treated numerous ailments, and even offered her expertise as a mentor to new foster parents. In the rescue world, of course, we do see many troubling or complicated cases and I've watched her deal with even those situations with aplomb. You couldn't choose a better friend for your pet!
I am a veterinarian and have known Elizabeth (Liz) her entire life. You will not find anyone who's dedication to pet care exceeds hers. Additionally, her dependability is exceeded only by her trustworthiness. They are both beyond reproach. I am completely comfortable recommending her for the care of your pets.
Elizabeth(Liz) is my number one choice for my pet care needs when I am away from home. She is knowledgeable, professional, honest, dependable, and very attentive to the needs of my pets when they are in her care. I never hesitate to call on Liz when I am out of town. My pets feel at home with Liz and love her company!
Elizabeth was an amazing avid volunteer and employee at a Cat Shelter in Brooklyn. She worked everything from spay and neuter clinics, to giving sick cats medicine, to taking care of bottle babies. She fostered 13 baby kittens during the pandemic. Inspired by her father who is a vet, and growing up around many cats and dogs, Elizabeth is now pursuing a degree to go to vet school. There is no one better to take care of your pets than her!
