Pet care experience
Hello all! I have eight years of experience as a nanny and preschool teacher, but I am now shifting gears to care for pets as I return to school. During my time as a nanny, I simultaneously cared for family pets. My pet responsibilities included long daily dog walks, morning and evening feeding, and plenty of play and love. I currently live in a row home on a tree-lined block in Mount Airy with my partner, our pup June, and four cats. As I am taking all online classes, I am home all day to walk, play, pet, and be present with your pup. My partner also works from home (as an editor), so your dog will rarely, if ever, be left alone. Our 1.5-year-old pup June loves other dogs and will be thrilled to play and nap with your pup.
Reviews
I Highly recommend Eliza! She’s very trustworthy and treated my dog like he was her own. What more can you ask in someone?
Eliza is the sweetest and most caring person in the world. She is incredibly tender and attentive to both her own animals and ours. I would trust her with our pets any time at the drop of a hat. I can't think of anyone who would be a better caregiver to any being, animal or human.
Eliza is one of the most caring, nurturing, and responsible people I know and is AMAZING with animals. Tending to each animal's needs, she makes sure all fur babies are happy, healthy, and loved! Play-time, walk-time, food-time, or chill-time, Eliza will make sure your pets are in a calm, sweet, and attentive environment. 10/10, would recommend!!

June is spayed, has all of her vaccinations, including Bordetella and canine flu, and is on flea and tick preventives. We ask that your dog also be up to date on their vaccines, spayed or neutered, and on flea and tick preventatives. My partner and I are vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19 and follow the CDC guidelines.

Information Eliza T. would like to know about your pet
The main thing I would love to know about your dog is how they are with other dogs and cats. I would also love to know your dog's energy level so that I can ensure a fulfilling stay. Of course, knowing vaccination status, food schedules, medication needs, whether the dog is spayed and neutered, and other basic information is important so that your pup has exactly what is needed.
A typical day
On a typical day, I will walk the dogs three times around my neighborhood and also on the Cresheim trail through Mount Airy. Additionally, I will sometimes go to Rolling Hills Park. Training is very important to me, and so during the day, I will also engage your dog in many fun brain-stimulating training activities.

June and I have a steady schedule. We take three walks a day—two one-hour walks in the morning and evening and a shorter mid-day walk. Throughout the day, we play or do light training, when she is not napping. Additionally, we go outside for pee breaks about once every two hours. June loves to hike and swim in the river, and we enjoy these activities 1-3 times a week.
