Caring for pets is my calling
Pet care experience
I have always like furry animals since I was little. The last 5 years I owned hamsters and became obsessed with them! My passion then took off while I lived in California last year and got experience pet sitting 6 different dogs for extended family members. This included taking the dogs on walks, potty breaks outside (one dog had to wear a diaper), feeding meals, giving medicine, and of course give loving attention. I also volunteered several hours at the West Valley Animal Shelter. There I got hands on experience providing caring for the rabbits and guinea pigs. I also taught hamster handling classes to educate volunteers and potential owners on proper care for these small pets. Now that I’m back home in Utah I want to continue working with animals. I’m comfortable with dogs, cats, and especially pocket pets!

Eliza is a very caring person and nurturing with animals. She has owned many pets herself and has volunteered in animal shelters. Often she would show us pictures of the stray cats/dogs that she will have encountered on her walks. She is very creative in the ways she makes sure the animals in her care are enriched and content including hand made items and fun rewarding puzzles for her pets.
Eliza is a true animal lover. Whether her own pet or animals she cares for while volunteering at shelters she makes sure they are comfortable and well cared for. She studies ways to help provide stimulating habitats and environments so that her animals are not bored and get plenty of exercise. She is very careful that the diet they are fed is the best suited for their nutritional needs. She also just loves her animals and does extra things so they can have fun like decorating habits for seasons, using only animal safe materials, providing puzzles and treats to change up the routines, and of course lots of playtime and attention. She is the best with animals.

Availability
Here I want to start part-time. I am available Monday through Saturday 7am to 7pm. I am flexible but I do prefer something long term that’s consistent. I’ll do my best to keep my calendar updated for any time slots or days I’m not available.
