Growing up I spent most of my week volunteering at my local animal shelter where I walked dogs and spent time with the cats in their care. After graduating high school, I worked in the ICU at a rhino orphanage and wildlife rehab in South Africa where I worked round-the-clock to care for injured and orphaned wildlife. After returning from South Africa, I spent a year nannying and dog-sitting for multiple families on a regular basis. The majority of this included staying in their homes and caring for their pets while they were away. After this I began college, where I am a studying wildlife conservation and environmental science. During this time, I spent 2 months interning at a farm sanctuary where I ran the cat/dog shelter and cared for the farm animals. I have worked as a veterinary technician for the past 2 years and can administer medication, i.v. fluids, and any other tasks that your pet may need. I have cared for wild animals, cats, dogs, chickens, farm animals, hamsters, mice/rats, and birds.
