Pet care experience
I’ve had cats my entire life and am well-versed in feeding, playing with, and cleaning up after kitties of all ages and personalities, including extensive catsitting in Western MA. I also do dog walking, have many pups I walk weekly, and enjoy discovering the beautiful trails and parks this area has to offer. I love making friends with animals and am conscious of the fact that every animal has different needs!

Entering a client’s home, I know I’m in someone else’s space and do my best to ensure that I meet the pet where they’re at in terms of socializing and personal space. I make sure to stick to requested feeding and cleaning schedules and am communicative with clients about any questions I might have about their (and their pets’!) preferences.
Information Eliza M. would like to know about your pet
I like to know in advance if a dog is extremely jumpy so I can be prepared with ways to help them calm down/redirect their energy, as well as how a dog behaves around other dogs so I can know in advance of walks. For cats, some info on their personality is also appreciated so I can figure out how to make them most comfortable around a new person, and I also like to know if they might try to escape when I arrive and leave.
A typical day
For cats, I always enjoy playing with string, wire, and feather toys, and I pride myself on being able to befriend most cats, even very shy ones, by meeting them on their own terms while encouraging them to play and get affection if they want it. For dogs, I enjoy playing outside in backyards and parks and practicing any tricks they have.

Availability
I am always available on Mondays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and I can ordinarily accommodate bookings before noon and after 6:00 on the other days of the week. I will always try to work with pet owners to make the best choices for their pets’ schedules and mine!
