Pet care experience
Before moving to Pittsburgh, I spent 1 year as a dog walker and pet sitter through Rover. Before that, I spent 2.5 months living and volunteering on an animal sanctuary that included 8 rescue dogs of different sizes, and 5 cats. As a volunteer I was responsible for providing breakfast, treat time and dinner for these critters, along with a nightly oral medication for the most senior doggo of the bunch. I have also fostered 2 greyhounds, one of which was a foster fail and whom I co-parented for 1.5 years :)

Eliza was such a life saver ! We are new to the area and couldn't find anyone to walk my dog . Eliza was so accommodating. She did an amazing ! She kept me updated by sending me pictures . Would recommend 100% .
We were super nervous about booking a dog walker for our new foster pup but Eliza was fantastic. She was responsive to messages and our Olive absolutely adored her. Bonus: she sent so many picture updates of our sweet girl! Will definitely book again.
Wow! What a great first experience with Rover and using Eliza! She sent so many updates and I loved it!! When I got home, my home was just how I left it and my pups were so happy! I would highly recommend Eliza!!

No breed preferences - mostly would love to know how your dog reacts to other animals while on walks (if they are okay to say hi and sniff, or if they tend to get nervous/overwhelmed/aggressive). Dietary restrictions, medication needs, and your dog's general routine times for eating and walking will help me keep your sweetie feeling as well adjusted as possible. **If your dog is over 70 lbs and tends to pull hard on the leash, I might not be a good fit, unless all you need is an in-home visit and for your pup to be let into the yard :) I am happy to schedule a meet and greet or phonecall so you can tell me everything I need to know about your special critter!
A typical day
I will happily walk your pup in your neighborhood or a nearby park, and play with them with their favorite toys until they are tuckered out. If your dog has a favorite game or pastime, let me know and I will make sure they are as comfortable and entertained as possible. The more energy they can burn off while you are gone, the less they will miss you, and I will be sure to send pictures along the way :) I am also happy to do in-home drop-in visits for cats or dogs, though I am not offering overnight stays at this time.

Availability
I am a second-year graduate student with a somewhat particular schedule. A general outline of my availability is: Mondays and Tuesdays between 9 am and 11:45 AM, or after 8:30 PM. Thursdays between 10 AM and 12:30 PM Fridays between 11 AM and 4 PM Weekends: Flexible - get in touch !
