We welcome dogs into our home and treat them as part of our little family, made up of Eliza, Matt and Stella. Stella is our wonderful sheepadoodle who've we had since she was a puppy. She is a bundle of fluff who loves nothing more than playing and showering others in kisses. Matt has experience of boarding a huge variety of dogs over the years aswell as owning many- from a chihuahua to a rottweiler cross he has a lot of experience. We have boarded, walked and owned dogs together for the past few years- most recently now in our new(ish) home in Shrewsbury. With someone in the house 24 hours a day, your pet Will always have company. We have a local park (4 minute walk) and many longer rural walks on our doorstep. We can help with lead training and recall or simply provide a safe space for dogs to stay whilst you are away. Having just trained our now 2 year old dog, we are comfortable to help younger puppies as they start their training journey! We have experience of looking after dogs with separation anxiety and ensure all dogs feel happy and safe throughout their stay with us.

Beyond happy ! We were on an extended holiday in Australia, so quite a wrench to leave our boy . He had such a fun time with Eliza and Stella - and lots of communication , videos and photos to put us at ease . So well cared for, and very appreciative of Eliza and Matt . Repeatable certainly.
Eliza and Matt gave Badger a great time with lots of exercise and cuddles. Their own dog welcomed Badger into the family pack and Eliza send me lots of feedback and photos of his time with them. Badger is already asking me when he can go back!🐶
It’s been 4 years since I left Boo with anyone, so I was really apprehensive about leaving her with strangers for almost 3 weeks, but I had nothing to worry about with Eliza and Matt. Right from the start they kept me up to date with lovely pics and info about what Boo and Stella were up to each day. They really put my mind at rest and cared for Boo with such love and understanding, I started to wonder if she would want to come home! I would not hesitate in whole heartedly recommending Eliza and Matt to care for your fur babies! Thank you both soo much xx

We have a reasonably large, fully fenced garden that dogs are able to access. As we already have our own dog, our house is dog friendly with food items etc placed out of reach. No place is off limits to dogs- sofas/beds etc but with 2 spare rooms we can also provide a safe space for dogs who would rather sleep alone or in a crate.

Please let us know if there are any special requirements your dog has. For example, are they able to be off lead, are they reactive with male/female/larger/smaller breeds. Are they likely to chew furniture/shoes etc... so we can ensure our house is set up to cater for them. Will they require space for a crate or a private spot to sleep away from our dog?
A typical day
Morning park walk- ball games and playing with dogs. Lunchtime walk (1 hour) ball games, go find, woodland area walk off lead. Evening walk (1 hour) ball games, socialising and off lead walking. Places we like to walk- the park, the wood, the hills around our house. With long stays we can travel to the beach on occasion. Enrichiment activities- scent games, hide and go find, garden time, snuffle mats, treat knocker, tug of war.

Availability
Matt works from home so is in the house daily. Our own dog has at least 2 walks per day as well as a half hour enrichment session (go find, snuffle mat, tug games) in the morning or evening. Eliza works from 9-3.30, so is free throughout the evenings for walks and play! At weekends, we often go on extended walks across the fields and woodlands.
