I grew up with Old English Sheepdogs, I had 4 from the time I was born while I was living with my mom and she taught me how to love, respect, and train those sweet big beauties. My mom also taught me a lot about different breeds and their temperaments, she truly fostered my love for all animals. In college I started watching dogs and cats for friends and their contacts. For the past 10 years I’ve been caring for other people’s animals as a way to earn a little extra income but mostly because I love animals so much! My favorite are big dogs, especially because I love going for walks or just being outside, which makes having a dog by my side ideal. I studied psychology in college and graduate school, I’ve taught preschool and religious school, worked at non-profits, and continued my studies to develop my HR skills. Playing, walking, petting, loving; dogs deserve the best and I am happy to provide! Note: Unfortunately, I do have allergies (but my love often prevails). Hypoallergenic dogs are best for me, but I am willing to care for regular dogs (and cats) for walks and visits but probably not for overnight stays or for care at my own home. Please discuss specific breeds with me as I have been around many and am aware of my limits. But I promise I will not short change your pet of my affection! I’ll just carry my Zyrtec and my hydrocortisone cream ;)
