Pet care experience
I've spent a lot of time with and taken care of all types, ages, and sizes of animals and reptiles. I have done so for long lengths of time, overnight, as well as for a few hours. I have experience with young puppies in training as well as assistance with older animals. I am happy to rest at home or go outdoors and always enjoy the company of some animal friends.

Elissa did a fantastic job of caring for our Luna! Elissa is friendly, positive, very responsible and so knowledgeable about how to safely care for and play with dogs. Luna is an energetic Aussiedoodle who loves lots of stimulation and exercise. Elissa left Luna happy and tired and her owners feeling reassured and grateful. We highly recommend Elissa to provide playcare for your pet!
Elissa is a great person in general, but also has an amazing connection with animals especially dogs. She has dogs sat for me quite a few times and every time she walks through the door my dogs are always so happy to see her! Sometimes I think they love her more than me ha ha. She always make sure to arrive on time or even a few minutes early just in case there’s any extra info I need to give her and double checks with me about any food or treats for the dogs. She loves all dogs as her own and she is always my go to person!

I live in a pet friendly apartment complex, therefore the outside area will be shared with other four legged friends. My apartment is of smaller size, allowing me to keep a watchful eye on your companion. I live close to the river and I am familiar with local waterways and trails if you have an adventurous animal:)

Please let me know if there’s any training/commands you would like me to keep up on! I would also love to be notified of any allergies as I love to provide treats and/or food during their stay! Transportation will be via pickup truck so please notify me if your pup knows how to ride in the back or needs to join me in the cab:)
A typical day
The day will be all about your pet! I love to take your four-legged friends on adventurous walks and play fetch in a large field. We will make sure to make a stop at the local pet store for some yummy treats and a new toy to play with during the stay, and to take home. If you and your pet are ok with dirty paws, I always love taking them on a fun trip to the creek, especially on a hot day.

I am currently working part-time, leaving me plenty of time in my week to play with your animals:) Schedule varies per week but I am typically available all week after 1pm.
