Pet care experience
I grew up with two small dogs and my extended family had large dogs who I took care of often! Since then I’ve loved pet sitting for friends too. The last decade I’ve been blessed with the sweetest cat, and she has since passed away, so I’m looking to love up on some animals in her memory :)

Elissa has taken great care of my pup, Bunky, many times when I've been away on work trips. I always feel comfortable leaving him with her for days at a time when I'm away, and she cares for him as if he were her own dog. Elissa has kept Bunky on his normal schedule by taking him on regular walks and feeding him his dinner on-time. When I'm back from my trips it would be hard to tear Bunky away from her, as he was so in the routine of following her around the house. Elissa is a fantastic pet sitter, I highly recommend.
Elissa was amazing while watching my pets! Not only did she bring extra treats, but she also took pictures and sent them to me all day long so I knew what they were up to! Definitely would recommend her to a friend and will definitely be using her frequently!
Elissa is impeccably reliable and is comfortable with all types of furry friends. She will care for your pet as if they are her own. I trust her completely with my dog, and always appreciate when she’s there to help!

A typical day
I love hiking and swimming so if your dog loves the outdoors, I'd be thrilled to bring them along! Some of my favorite nearby hikes/walks include Sleeping Giant, Stone Dam, and Crater Hill. Dog friendly beaches that I love include Moloa’a Bay, Hanalei, Kealia and Kitchens.

Availability
My work schedule is Sunday-Thursday from 8-3pm, so I am available for early morning feedings/walks or evening feedings/walks. Happy to house sit for East Side/North Shore Kauai residences too!
