Pet care experience
I started pet sitting when I was 15 years old for all sorts of animals - dogs, cats, horses, goats, chickens, turkeys, fish, you name it! I have been around animals my whole life and am very comfortable with big and small dogs. I have trained pit bulls and whatever the little mutt mix I currently own is. I have also had cats for most of my life and live with a very lovely 12 year old kitty now. I am self-employed, so I am free to play with your pooch as you need! I will always give your pet the attention they need, and what you ask for. As a highly experienced pet sitter, I will be attentive to your pet's and your own needs. I am happy to do a little training, or just play and/or walk to tire them out! I will be sure to meet and exceed your expectations for your pet's safety and happiness.

The best out there
Elissa took great care of my kitties and monitored one that is ill. I was updated everyday and it was appreciated as I was traveling. It gave me peace of mind. She will definitely be my first choice the next time I need a kitty sitter.

I do not take pets into my home. I have a grumpy old cat who doesn’t want any more furry things in his space. I will only walk dogs on leash, no free roaming. Let me know where the toys and treats are so your pet can get delightfully spoiled with lots of play and training time!

Please let me know your personal preference for your pup's behavior on walks - do they sit at the street corner? Are they allowed to meet other dogs on leash? Also, please let me know if your pup has any special needs or wants!
A typical day
I try to take a variety of routes on walks to mix it up on the pup, getting them to smell all new things. I also love doing a little training throughout walks and other activities. Making them work mentally and physically is so much fun for them! If there are any behaviors you would like to reinforce (or discourage!) or learn, I would be happy to help.

I am available from 10 am - 5 pm Monday through Friday, and some weekends. Please contact me for my current availability. I do not do overnights or day care.
