I began as a home/dog sitter during high school and I walked professors' dogs in college. Boo Radley (my Shih Tzu) joined my family five years ago, and though his separation anxiety was a struggle to push through at times, he has taught me the importance of paying attention to dogs' behavior and their health. Because I learned methods to overcome his anxiety, I am well-qualified to work with dogs who have similar conditions. I am patient with all breeds (except those with threatening/aggressive dispositions) and am diligent about routines including: feeding, exercise, medications/allergies, and most importantly, love and companionship! I currently have a very flexible work schedule and am available between 8:30am and 4pm, and again from 6pm-8pm. My schedule may change slightly, but the overall time frames should still be similar. Boo is very compatible with other dogs, though it is important to know that he is on the calmer side. He also gets along with children but is uncomfortable with cats. I will be the only one at home with the dog(s) and will be able to give them my very best attention.
