I have worked for multiple kennels over the past few years as a kennel technician. I have experience with handling dogs of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments. I have no problem house sitting dogs that are elderly as well and can give medications, including insulin. I do want to state that I do not accept human aggressive behavior from animals. Please do not contact if you know that your dog is weird and aggressive with strangers. Especially since I will be in their home and personal space. A lot of dogs can get territorial with things like that and it can pose a serious danger to animal caregivers! Every doggy is wonderful, but some just can't be petsit by strangers and would do better with someone they are familiar with. Dog aggression is something I can work around! I have handled many animal aggressive dogs over the years, and don't mind handling them. I do ask that if I am walking them that they have a HARNESS. Worst thing that can happen is walking an animal aggressive animal with just a collar and leash, and that collar slips over their neck while they're pulling. (I have seen this happen, and it is NOT pretty and dog fights are not fun to break up!) I am fine with taking care of puppies! They don't have to be one year old, but I do want them to be at least a few months old. We can discuss details if need be! Basically, I'm open to just about any dog and am willing to discuss things. Another thing I'd like to add is if you have other animals in your home that are caged, I have no problem with caring for them as well! I have experience with multiple caged pets such as parrots, tarantulas, mantids, ferrets, rats, gerbils, hamsters, fish, rabbits, ECT. I have no fear of taking care of insects or birds. I have had several insect pets over the years and own my own green cheek conure parrot and have cared for several other parrots, including much larger ones like macaws and cockatoos.
