Pet care experience
I have taken care of pets of my own and others since I was a kid. I grew up in a house with 2 cats (darn my dad's dog allergy!) Currently I have 1 cat and 1 dog, both adorable rescues who we love like children! I have experience caring for a variety of kinds of dogs and cats, including some experience caring for senior dogs with medical issues and administering medicaiton and subdermal fluids to cats. I follow all directions to a tee. I also have experience using a pet sitter, so I recognize the importance of knowing your pets are in safe, capable, reliable, and loving hands! I love getting updates and photos of my fur kid when I'm away, so I'm happy to make sure you are worry free.

This was our first experience using a Rover sitter while being gone for 5 days for our three cats and I have absolutely no regrets with going with Elise. She gave them lots of love and attention and took the best pictures! She would send really great reports each visit and my kids looked forward to reading them every day. The pictures and reports showing how well they were being taken care of helped us enjoy our vacation and not stress about our pets. I would use Elise again in a heartbeat and would recommend her as well for anyone looking for a reliable and easy going pet sitter!! Thank you again for taking such great care of our kitties and helping us enjoy our vacation even more ☺️

A typical day
I love taking dogs for walks of any length, or playing around in the yard or house. However your pet likes to exercise, I'm down! Tons of love and cuddles will be provided and your fur baby will be complimented endlessly, so you'll probably come home to an egotistical pup! I am an animal lover and have plenty of love to share with your pet.

Availability
I work full time "office hours" but have evenings and weekends free typically. I am currently working from home. I have availability during the day on weekends to care for basic pet needs and have evenings free for fun and exercise. Most of my time out of town is planned well in advance. I am flexible and open to various opportunities. Please note: I may add a 20% last-minute fee if you request service less than 5 days in advance. This is to respect the value of my time and I'd be happy to discuss.
