Pet care experience
I've had pets my whole life and have always loved taking care of them! People in my community have asked me to watch their pets for a week at a time. I have successfully potty trained two dogs and done basic training (come, sit, stay, heel) for one puppy. I have taken care of sick and geriatric animals and have developed a strong sense of patience and command with the animals.

We have used Elise twice now for house sitting and our dogs love her! Definitely going to keep using her.
Elise house sat our two dogs and did an amazing job. We got daily updates with images and our one dog that takes a while to warm up to new people loved her by the end of her stay. Also whenever any happened (boy dog marking in the house) she lets us know right away. We are definitely going to use her again for future house sitting needs!!! ???
Elise is an absolute doll! We obviously love her but more importantly our fur babies love her too! We have a very timid and shy rescues pup that is very scared of people. She warmed up to Elise in one day. She’s great at communicating with us and sends the best photos. We’ll absolutely keep using Elise!

According to each animals' needs I would set up their environment to be safe and engaging. This includes but is not limited to: walking at a slow pace for older animals, always harnessing the animals on walks, gating off parts of a home (i.e. stairs, extra rooms, etc) for safety and cleanliness concerns and when pet-sitting I ensure that the animal eats at regular intervals and goes outside (or has access to a litter box) at regular intervals.

I have a part time job that allows a decent amount of flexibility and only works within the hours of 2-8pm. I have a bike and the ability to ride the metro and am seeking pet care opportunities that are both regular and irregular.
