Pet care experience
I rescued my sweet beagle/lab mix Shadow when she was 5 weeks old, and she was my baby until she passed at the age of 15. I loved and cared for her in every stage of her life. I have a deep love for all dogs in every shape and size. I am comfortable caring for all dogs from puppies to seniors, small to extra large. I am happy to care for a dog with special needs as well. I have worked as a volunteer in the Richmond animal league on their dog crew in the past. I would enjoy taking your dog for long walks, intense runs, or just have play time! I am available throughout the week and on weekends. I am currently a student, but I'm happy to work around my class schedule.

Are they house broken? Do they have basic obedience training? Do they get along well with other dogs? Other animals? Do they have any special needs? Are they prone to chasing after small animals? (my dog used to do this all the time) Are the comfortable walking off leash? Or do they need to be leashed at all times? I love all dogs, however I am particularly fond of mastiffs! Not going to lie, I love mastiffs!
A typical day
This depends on the dog. If I am caring for a high energy breed, I would love to go run for a few miles in a park with them. If the dog is a senior, I can take them for a gentle walk, cuddle with them, and play at their activity level. With puppies I can play with them in my home, play at a dog park, go for walks... basically do everything I can to tired out a puppy!
