Love and care for furry friends 💕

Pet care experience

My dog (Friday) and my cat (Bun Bun) are my best friends in the entire world and I’m sure that yours probably are too! I know how much my own pup looks forward to his walks every day so I want to make sure that your best friends also get to have the most fun during their time outside. The pups I walk get to stop and sniff around for their friends as much as they want and can take me wherever they want to go (unless mom/dad says otherwise, or course)! I also love running around with high energy dogs to help tire them out so that they (and you) can rest and relax the rest of the day. My own dog, Friday, has been my best friend for almost 12 years! Fri has developed some arthritis and hip problems now that he’s older so when I take him for walks I’m especially mindful of going at the pace he sets and make sure to take shady breaks when he looks like he’s slowing down. After caring for my own old boy, I’m very cognizant of the needs of older animals (or animals with injuries) and how to accommodate for them to make sure they have the most fun possible during their time outside. I’m primarily available for afternoon and evening drop-ins and walks but am flexible with doing limited morning walks and drop-ins as well. I typically require a 1 day advance for booking new requests but can accommodate last minute requests for repeat clients—I want to make sure that you and your dog are have enough time to get comfortable with me and that I have enough time to ask you lots of questions and prepare so that I can give your pup the best care possible :-) I currently don’t offer boarding, but I love doing drop in visits to make sure your pup is getting lots of love, care, and attention while you’re away.

We had Elizabeth watch our trip Shih Tzu’s Juno & Rosie for 5 days while we traveled to New York. She did an initial visit to meet the dogs and she was very sweet and caring with them. Each day she arrived and took wonderful care of our babies, sharing photos and a full description of the visit. Upon arrival home the dogs were both very calm and seemed disappointed that I walked through the door and not Elizabeth. I would 100% recommend you hire Elizabeth to watch your fur babies.

Elisabeth did an amazing job watching my cats! She’s very attentive and sweet and showed them so much love and care. She was also very respectful to our home and showed great attention to the cats’ environment. Elisabeth has great communication and kept us very reassured about how our cats were doing. I highly recommend Elisabeth if you need someone to drop by and look over your pet!

Information Elisabeth V. would like to know about your pet

Below are some things that can be helpful for me to know to make your dog’s walk or drop-in even better! If you think any of these are important for me to keep in mind, please let me know before our walk! - What’s their favorite route or area that they like taking? How far do you want them to walk in 30 minutes? - Do they get anxious when they’re apart from you? If so, what’s the best way I can make them more comfortable? - What are some of your goals for their walk you’d like me to keep in mind? (ie. Give them as much exercise as possible? Lots of potty/poop breaks? Meandering in the sunshine?) - Do they have any poop/potty issues I should look out for or tell you about? - Do they try to eat things on the sidewalk? - Do they pull on their leash? - Do they like chasing other animals, cars, or people? - Do they respond to verbal commands from people other than yourself? - Are they afraid of anything that I should be aware of? - Do they bark a lot? Is it usually because they’re excited, scared, or angry? - Do they ever decide that they don’t want to go any further while on a walk (ie. plop down in the shade for a nap). How do you motivate them to move? For smaller dogs, can they be picked up?

A typical day

I love playing with whatever toys or activities your pup naturally wants to do—whether that’s just chilling and giving belly rubs, taking a lap around the block to catch up on the freshest sniffing spots, or throwing a ball back and forth, I want to make sure your pup is relaxed, comfortable, and having fun while you’re gone.
