Active Student w/ yard and cuddles!

Pet care experience

I am comfortable with almost any aspect of animal care and am a firm believer in positive reinforcement. There are no bad dogs! I have worked with everything from horses to chihuahuas, so I am patient yet firm when it comes to correcting behavior.

With a four year old rescue dog from Turkey who had lived on the streets for part of her life, I knew I needed just the right person to help my dog feel safe and loved. Elizabeth, with her experience, love of animals and good instincts about dogs, was just that person. I am grateful that Elizabeth was available, seemed to know exactly what my dog needed and sent pictures to me throughout the day. Just the right sitter!

Elisabeth was very helpful with our sitting. She was very considerate to come to our event place and sit our pet there. I’ll definitely consider Elisabeth again

10/10 would recommend Elisabeth. She is kind and patient and she went above and beyond while watching my dog and cat while I was out of town. She provided lots of details about what how my pets were doing throughout the day. I will definitely be booking her again.

Skills

10 years of experience
Oral medication administration
Senior dog experience
Can provide daily exercise

Safety, trust & environment

I take walks, play, cuddle, and give as many belly rubs as possible outside of my own home. I have a car, so I can take short trips to locations that are more peaceful and not as heavily trafficked by other dogs if required. Dropping by to make sure that animals are well-fed and watered, as well as taking any medications is no problem!

Non-smoking household
Has no pets

Dogs not allowed on furniture
Potty breaks every 0-2 hours

Information Elisabeth B. would like to know about your pet

I prefer to know any temperament/behavioral issues ahead of time, like dog reactivity or watchdog barking, as well as favorite treats, toys, and activities. This allows me to pick the best place to take care of your dog, as well as plan for preferred activities during our outing ( e.i fetch with a frisbee vs tug of war ), to help your canine companion fully enjoy themselves with a new human friend!

A typical day

I live close to Bridle Trails State Park and Marymoor Park, so depending on your dog’s preference I can offer stimulating walks around other people and dogs, or more peaceful forest paths to explore. My own house also has a fenced yard to allow for plenty of off-leash games of fetch and rolling around in the sunshine for less active individuals!
