Hello friend! As animal lovers, we have 10+ years of experience taking care of dogs at shelters and dog-sitting for friends. We are excited to give your pup the same love and care you do while you're away. At home, we also have a 2-year-old mini australian shepherd, Maple, who is super playful and easily makes friends (both human and 4-legged) wherever we go! We will also be sure to keep you updated with photos and videos during your dog's retreat.

Elina is a loving pet owner and a great pet caregiver as well. She has watched our fur baby on multiple occasions only as a favor and during those times, our baby Beau has learned new tricks and unlearned bad ones. What makes Elina special is her ability to communicate with the little ones - they listen and they learn. That kind of affinity with fur people makes a huge difference. I would trust her with my kids - both types of mammals.

Our home is secured with multiple indoor and outdoor cameras. We also have a monitored security system. Included is a fenced and gated backyard. We have dog-proofed couches and dedicated play spaces for yours to hang out. Note: We won't have more than 2 dogs at a time to ensure that your pup has our dedicated attention and care.

Any information on how to best greet the dog and make them comfortable is helpful. I'd also love to know about their favorite treats, toys, habits, allergies, and food restrictions. Before confirming a booking, we require an in-person meet and greet to get familiar with each other and make sure it's a good fit for everyone.
A typical day
Every dog is different, so we can discuss what's most fun for your dog. We like going on walks at Mills College and local hiking trails. We can play games with your dog, such as fetch + nose work + training to keep them active and entertained physically and mentally. Our dog Maple is also a great dog companion.

Availability
Both of us are professionals who work from home every day, so there will always be someone who will keep your dog company. Since we accept a limit of 1 dog per day, we guarantee personalized and dedicated quality time for your dog. Focus areas include canine enrichment games, walks, and fetch. We also have a fenced backyard big enough for puppy playdates.
