Pet care experience
My family has always had pets when I was growing up, including dogs and cats. I’ve loved animals through all life stages, so I understand the importance of care for your pet’s specific needs. I have lots of experience of pet sitting senior animals and house sitting for friends and family. I’d be happy to walk, bathe, feed, and take care of the family you may have to leave at home!

I have always know Elijah to most kind and thoughtful to any animal. He was raised with a rescued Yellow Lab mix as a boy into his teens. I personally have had a rescued Rottweiler mix, a German Shephard Dog, a Chocolate Lab, a Golden Retriever and now a 14 lb. Sheltie mix. Elijah has been around all of them and has always shown compassion to each of our four-legged family members. Family pets have always gravitated towards Elijah because he is playful and gentle. He chose his first pet from a shelter when he was three and they were inseparable for the next eleven years. His grandparent's Golden Retriever Bailey loved Elijah and they would play on the floor together up until the end of Bailey's life. Elijah is kind and gentle and animals know they are safe and cared for.

My Girlfriend and I have a wonderfully cute cat named Joey. We make sure our kitty is flea medicated, healthy, and stick to a regular feeding routine to ensure a healthy diet. Unfortunately we cannot home any pets in our apartment, but I’d be happy to treat your pet with the same respect and care as I do with mine. I like to have a meet and greet in the home prior to the job start date so that your pet can feel more comfortable with my presence. I can provide daily photos and descriptions of the activity your animal has done so that you are connected to your pet while away! I am easily reachable at all hours concerning care and upkeep.I know how devastating it can be to leave your animal in the wrong hands, which is why I find it important that my client’s animals are treated with the same love and attention as my own pets are deserved.

Let me know if your dog needs any special care if possible. I’m not certified in CPR for pets and I can easily administer oral medication.
A typical day
I love to be active with the animals as much as possible! If your pet can walk, run, and play fetch than I love taking them to a local park. I also enjoy walking dogs in the walking trails in Long Beach, since they get lots of stimulus that way. If your dog knows any tricks, I like to make sure they practice them while you are away to keep their memory fresh. I make it a priority that your pet is well fed, clean, and happy.
