Pet care experience

I love dogs, and, although it took me a long time to get my first dog, I have always been a dog person. I am very caring with the dogs I care for, I believe only in positive training, and enjoy providing them with plenty of exercise and stimulation with training, games, and trips to the dog park. Probably my best quality when it comes to dogs is patience. I am not at all quick to anger or annoyance and will never fault a dog for being a dog. My core philosophy is most similar to that of Cesar Milan's "calm-assertive pack leader", and using my body language and rewards to guide a dog to replace bad behavior with what I want them to do.

Eli's wonderful with dogs. His pup Chuy is a testament to that! He's an excellent trainer and walker. Your pet will be in good hands.

Information Eli L. would like to know about your pet

Any and all negative behavioral issues. I will not take on a dog unless I know the worst thing they've done, are they possessive of food or toys, do they not get along well with other dogs, have they ever bit or even snarled at someone and what were the circumstances. This is so I can anticipate any problems before they present themselves and is imperative for my safety and the safety of my dog as well as any other dogs in my care. This is NON-NEGOTIABLE.

A typical day

Walks on leash around the neighborhood, light training (sit, stay, come, down, off, up), trips to the dog park at Searls (playing with other dogs, fetch, hiking through the wooded trail areas).
