Pet care experience
I'm in my thirties , have my own pets, 2 dogs & 1 indoor cat w harness privileges. My border Collie has taught me well how valuable daily exercuse & enrichment is, and I would love to help keep your own pets happy during your shifts. My own fuzzbutts get stir crazy without me so we do a lot of engaging play, and walks to fill their needs. I love working with animals and trying to figure out how the cogs in their heads work to get them to do tricks or learn what I am asking of them.

Safety, trust & environment
I am offering drop-in care & walks. I always bring my own leash/poobags/waterbowl. I prefer detailed & specific instructions in writing, every home is different so I want to ensure I understand your particular pet needs. I'll happily follow your routine, it works for a reason, right? That said, I am able to: •Check-in on older/timid pets •Refill waters, feed your pet, clean litterboxes, set up treat toys •Play with your pets' toys •Take you dog for a walk [you can designate where or let me choose locally] •Spend some time with your pet in your [yard/porch/etc] just relaxing or working on practicing their tricks/commands. •I have more experience giving dogs pills, than cats. So if your kitty isnt easy to pill, as of this update I am unable to comfortably commit to doing so, sorry! •My current only experience with injectable medications is insulin shots for either cats or dogs.
Information Eli J. would like to know about your pet
Allergies, Motivation (food/toys/excitement), Favorite smells/places, Commands/Signals they are familiar with, any Behavioral issues/concerns, as well as any Medical issues/concerns. Anything and everything you feel I need to know.
A typical day
I'd usually start off with pottybreaks, let them limber up and stretch out those sleepy limbs. In warmer weather maybe an ice cube in their waterbowl so they drink water while i check their food levels. Then off on an adventure. Homebodies will get some puzzle toys or some games of tag/catch, or hide n seek. Travelers get easy hiking trails or dog parks or walking down mainstreet. Goals being engaging enjoyable stimuli, fun changes to the every day. Then some settle down time with a chew toy/kong/licki mat and a radio or tv playing. A nice long but slower walk before wrapping up with dinner.

Availability
Pet care is seasonal & part time for me. I prefer a boisterous day at a dogpark or a quiet afternoon people watching at a coffeeshop or helping my dog puzzle out a new game/trick..., so this is mostly me monetizing my joys. As of this update my main employment is as a Kennel/Boarding Technician. During my freetime, or if friendly, alingside my own pets' activities is when I plan to be available.
