Pet care experience
I am a born animal lover who has been surrounded by fur/fin/feather-babies since I was 6yo. I have had/cared for many dogs and cats over the years and currently care for my German Shepherd mix, 2 cats, and fish at home. On many occasions I have pet sat for friends and family at their respective homes. I love visiting pets and giving them some good ol' TLC while you're away! Nothing makes me happier than seeing animals well cared for and living their best lives! I love dogs and have cared for many over the years, sometimes teaching them new fun tricks. I have the patience and compassion that senior dogs require for proper care as well. Humbly, I will claim, I have often been referred to as some sort of "cat whisperer;" even shy cats tend to come over to me for some lovin's! I welcome your kitty friends with open arms too. I will shower your pets with the same level of affection, care and compassion I give my own. Your pets well-being is my top priority.

Stellar pet sitter!! I've had her come to check on and feed my rats, hamster, fish, turtles, and parakeets for many years. She is always pleasant and cautious to ensure she gives the most supreme care. It's nice to have someone I can trust with my variety of animals! 10/10 would recommend!
Elexus has watched a number of my pets over the years and is an amazing pet sitter. She will go above and beyond to make sure your pet is safe and well cared for. She follows directions and care instructions to a T and is one of the few people I fully trust with my fur babies. She will love your pets like her own and probably miss them once they go back home. Honestly could not recommend a better pet sitter
To say I was shocked when I heard (and had photo proof!) that she had got our stranger-nervous dog to eat, successfully go out to potty and get pets in under 20 minutes of meeting each other, is an understatement! I had Elexus visit mostly to put food out for Aldo. I told her I really didn't anticipate him moving off the couch while she was there but if she could get him to go out that would be great, though I wasn't concerned if not. Elexus exceeded expectations, I definitely recommend her for your pet care needs!
Elexus is amazing!! She is patient and even my shy kitty, Zeke, came out of hiding and let her pet him! Zeke is NOT a people cat, so knowing he even felt comfy in her presence is a big deal! She also gave us updates on our boy and how he was doing while we were away which is definitely appreciated! We are so grateful to have found Elexus for our pet-sitting needs!

A typical day
Per your request and approval, I may take your dog(s) for a walk and chill out at local parks/trails. I am happy to play a game of fetch, tug-of-war or tricks-for-treats. Does your dog or cat like to snuggle up on the couch or a chair? I'll take a seat and invite them over. I want to do my part to make sure your pet relaxes and has fun during their time with me.

Availability
I prefer to visit in the daylight hours only. Most days between 10am and 3pm, I can come tend to your furbabies' needs. If you need me to visit multiple times a day or stay for longer periods of time, that can be discussed. Need someone to stop by and let the dogs out while you're away for the weekend? Let's plan it!
