Pet care experience
I'm originally from Denver, Colorado and grew up with golden retrievers in my home and walked all the neighborhood dogs! I’m currently lacking some furry energy and would adore the chance to give your pet some love! I love both cats and dogs and understand the importance of quality care when you’re not able to do it yourself. While in my care I will ensure that I will do everything necessary to keep your pet happy, feeling loved, and sufficiently zonked!

Elena was wonderful with Kitten. She patiently and with great care gained her trust and affection. I was not at all worried leaving Kitten in Elena’s care for about 3 weeks. I loved getting the updates and photos after each visit. I can’t recommend her enough! :)
Elena did a WONDERFUL job caring for my 2 older kitties. She provided great daily updates, and was very responsive! My 2 critters are happy and relaxed after my return, which after being gone for 12 days, really says something! Thank you Elena!!

Unfortunately I’m unable to host pets, however, I can ensure your pets safety in their own environment. Inside, I’ll ensure water and cooler temperatures are always accessible, unsafe foods or dog temptations are out of reach, doors are locked, and I have the key/code on hand if you need anything last minute. Outside we will cross streets safely, ask about other dog friendliness and stay on leash unless in a safely fenced area.

I would like to know general temperament, food preferences, favorite treats, usual route, and any health conditions or concerns. I want to ensure that I have all the information necessary to care for your dog with all the love they deserve!
A typical day
Morning is the best! Cooler temperatures allow us to go on longer walks on a trail or to a further park, we can throw a frisbee or ball in a field, or just run leashed, until one of us gets tired! Midday is a crucial time to switch to some fresh, cold water and get outside to get energy out - maybe a game of hide n go seek?! Evening includes some treats for being such a good pup, some tug of war, and another walk - perhaps to a dog park or perhaps to enjoy the fresh air.

I am currently working part time so dog walking can fit in well to my work schedule and I am very flexible. I enjoy being able to get outside and move my body and dog walking is one way I can ensure that happens.
