Hi there! I have cared for many little critters as a child and young adult but I'll spare you the backstory details. TLDR: hamsters, guinea pigs, mice, parakeets, turtles, rocks, and neighborhood insects. My past dog friends: Snowflake - Maltese Teddy - Shih Tzu Lucky - Chihuahua, along with 4 Pomeranians (I lived with my boyfriend's family at the time and it was very lively with all these furry friends) Boy - Black Lab Raya 4 years old - Husky/Blue Heeler (puppy experience) Bodhi 2 years old- French Bulldog (puppy experience) Dojin - Black cat (Unfortunately, I am allergic but I adore them) Bodhi and Raya are my most recent babies and we adopted them as pups, but they live with their dad in Texas as we are no longer together. But with them, I attended two Petsmart dog training courses as well as a Brain Games class. They both graduated and have their puppy diplomas! Raya was the last of her litter to be adopted from the shelter. As such, she suffered from submissive behaviors and anxiety - I have experience and understanding of those tendencies; anxious or excited pees don't stress me! I also understand dogs will make attempts to be scary when they are scared but I'll work with them to find their comfort zones.
