Pet care experience
I have taken care of multiple dogs and cats since I was 10 years old. I even took care of horses at one point. I love animals and I have two dogs of my own-a 6 year old St. Bernard, boxer & bullmastiff mix and a 7 year old chihuahua. I unfortunately recently lost my Rottweiler bullmastiff mix to old age. I have a lot of experience with large dog breeds. I am a special needs pet parent, my St. Bernard mix has idiopathic epilepsy and suffers from extreme cluster seizures. I am experienced in seizure management, medication management and administration, and rescue medication protocol. I also have experience taking care of a cat with diabetes which required injections twice daily. I assure you, from personal experience, that I understand how scary it can be to trust someone to care for your pet, especially if they have special needs. Part of the reason I decided to start this account is to allow those with special needs pets a sense of comfort knowing I have my own special needs pup at home.

Elena did a great job watching my pups. She fed them and let them out for the night. I would use her again!
Elena was great with my two cats. This was my first time leaving them with someone other than family to take care of them, and I was nervous because one is on an oral medication. Elena let me know each time she visited that the medication was taken and sent picture updates. My one stand-offish cat even warmed up to her and let her pet her, so that itself means a lot. I’ll definitely be hiring Elena in the future!
Elena took great care of our 11 month old puppy. She walked him, fed him, and played with him. Communication was great. We would definitely use Elena again to watch our dog.
Elena did an incredible job pet sitting/walking my two dogs. She is dependable and I felt confident leaving them in her care. They can be nervous around new people but they warmed up to her right away! I even had an unpredicated water leak in the basement and she communicated right away to mitigate the issue while also keeping the dogs safe and out of harms way. We all appreciated Elena so much!!

A typical day
I utilize a variety of activities with dogs I watch. Walks, yard play, indoor toy play, mental stimulation through lick mats/hidden treats etc. I am willing to do whatever necessary to ensure each dogs unique needs are met.

Availability
I work from home so I am flexible. I am available all day and evening weekday or weekend. I do not typically do overnights. If you’re requesting house sitting, I will spend as much time at your house as needed, but at night time midnight-7am I will not be there.
