Treat Your Dog to a Catskill Vacay
Pet care experience
I have never lived without a dog to love in my life. I grew up around dogs. As a teenager I showed my award winning Tibetan Mastiff. I went on to adopt three rescue dogs who lived with me until ripe old ages of 15, 16 and 18. We now have a new rescue pup ,Hank, who loves to play with other pups. I have tons of patience with young and old dogs. I am a recently retired (but still young) teacher who works from home. I have plenty of time to spend walking, hiking, playing, brushing, and loving your dog. I have enjoyed boarding and caring for dogs in NYC as well as my homes in the Catskills and Joshua Tree. Elena was amazing!! We were traveling abroad and Elena was super accommodating with the way we communicate. I suggested to use a social media platform to communicate since we won’t be receiving text messages. Elena sent us multiple videos and photos everyday and kept us posted with the various activities they did. I felt extremely at ease during the entire trip. Every time when I thought of emma (which is a lot) and I go to check my chat with Elena, I would see that Elena sent me new photos already! Thank you so much Elena for taking care of her!! Emma definitely looked like she had a amazing time with you. ❤️
Elena was great with Lilo, took her upstate and got her tons of exercise and outdoor time. Also helped me out in a bind with scheduling.
Talk about a pampered pooch experience! We are new to NYC and were on the search for the Mary Poppins of dog care for our 12-year-old family dog. We found her. Elena provided great care for Dexter, including daily hikes and plenty of affection. I deeply appreciated the above-and-beyond approach from an initial meet and greet prior to the stay to her picking up and dropping Dexter off. She sent videos and pictures of her time with Dexter throughout the stay. His care was never in question. We will absolutely book Elena again.
Elena was absolutely amazing. She came highly recommended from a close friend and we were so lucky to have her take our pup and provide equally as much care. We got tons of updates throughout the stay and it is clear she’s incredibly attentive and Al dogs are well taken care of in her home

We have a cottage in the Catskills with a large wrap around gated deck and a screened in porch. If your dog is staying for at least three days I can bring them up to our place in the Catskills where we will hike, hang out on our deck and cuddle by the fireplace at night. We give your pup tons of affection and lots of opportunities for play. We have a small dog, Hank, who is very friendly. We only take pups who play well with others. Is your dog housebroken? How often would you like your dog to be walked? Does your dog get along with other dogs? What are your dog’s quirks? Where does your dog like to pee? Some dogs will only pee on grass or cement or metal (like grating ) - seems odd? Well I’ve watched dogs who have these requirements - and many more - lol. it’s best if I know this before hand - makes things easier for me and your pup!
A typical day
I have tons of time to play hike and cuddle with my doggie clients. I’m an active person and love taking your dog on a hike or playing endless games of tug and fetch. Let me know what your pup likes and I’m sure we can accommodate. Even our car is dog friendly - we have doggie seatbelts and a cover for the back seat.

I am a retired pre k teacher who writes curriculum from home. My schedule allows me to spend a lot of quality time with your dog. We go on frequent walks / hikes and hang out in the house playing and cuddling.. I incorporate your dog into my entire day.
