Pet care experience
I grew up in a big city in the west of Romania, but I spent almost all my summers at the country side with my grandparents. They had a farm with lots of animals like chickens, ducks, geese, pigs, dogs and cats. My task was to always take care of feeding the cats and dogs. When I was a teenager I started watching a series on National Geographic about training dogs and from then on I got more and more curious about not just training dogs but also how and why they behave the way they do. I read many books and watched plenty of videos with dog behaviorist. Some of the techniques I learned I applied with my dogs and was stunned to see how quickly they would learn and interact. Unfortunately I could only practice during summer with them and by the time I came back next year I had to start all over again. But even so I continued the exercises with them and it would always bring me joy and we would always end up having a lot of fun.

Elena took such a good care of Zahra, that I will definitely recommend her to anyone!. She is super friendly, uncomplicated and she made everything super easy for all of us. Also, she took the effort to keep us posted the whole time (which was a great relieve as the handover was a bit hard because Zahra was a bit anxious with the situation, but Elena handled it with ease and was really patient). I live in a one room apartment with balcony and a nice quiet backyard/Innenhof with trees and grass. Next to me I also have the Humboldt Park and Mauerpark. Both have areas for dogs.

I would like to know what schedules does the dog/cat have to make sure that it fits with mine. I would also like to know if the dog is trained to sit alone for more than 4 hours, because of working schedule I'm away from 9:00 until 18:00
A typical day
During the time I am at home, I focus all my attention on the dog/cat. I like to stimulate them with toys, teach them new tricks or play obedience games. For the times the dog needs more exercise I can go with them for short or long distance runs depending on the dogs fitness needs.

Availability
I am currently working full-time as an architect, which means during the week I am available for dog walks in the evening. On the weekends I'm very flexible with time so I can go for longer walks and do home sitting. When I'm on vacation I don't travel all the time so I can even do dog sitting for more days consecutively.
