Pet care experience
I am a student at Cal Poly Pomona (CPP) studying Agribusiness Management. I have owned and been around dogs my entire life. My family has owned six Shetland Sheepdogs (Sheltie), a Wolf-Husky mix, and a Pomeranian. We currently have one 9 month old spayed female Sheltie and the wolfdog who is 14 years old and spayed. Daisy, the Sheltie, just recently passed her Canine Good Citizen (CGC) and is currently working towards showing in Obedience, Agility, and Herding trials. Our old wolfdog (Chynko) is a couch potato who sleeps all day! I do have one Thoroughbred mare who does well around my dogs and we also have chickens on the property and where they are is fenced off. I was a volunteer for the Oakland SPCA for 4 years. My classes at CPP have included Animal Science classes that taught such information as pet first aid, disease recognition and how they are would be treated by a vet, and vaccine protocols.

Eleanore is the BEST with many different types of animals! She really connects with dogs and horses-I've even seen dogs who don't like new people cozy right up to her (in particular, my pup!)! She is extremely responsible with feeding/walking and just truly cares about the animals she is responsible for. She truly treats her own horse and two dogs like family. She'll definitely take care of your animals properly and with care like she did mine (a Pomeranian).
Eleanore is the BEST pet sitter I have EVER used! My pup, Bailey, is normally fairly shy around new people and yet as soon as Eleanore walked in he was immediately comfortable. Eleanore has pet/house sat for me many times and has always done an incredible job, I feel very safe having her in my home and I know my furry friend is getting top notch care when he is with her. Recently, after going through a transition at work I have been working longer hours so Eleanore has been stopping by to watch Bailey during the day. Which means I can go to work feeling guilt free knowing that he is having a blast hanging out with Eleanore! Such a lovely young woman!

A typical day
Norco has no sidewalks - instead we have trails! So walks are more fun with all the different animals smells and are easier for older dogs because the trails are sanded. I have some agility equipment that I could play with your dogs on, I like to take Daisy with me everywhere as much as I can (Home Depot, out to eat, etc,), and if your dog is crate trained (and if you provide a their crate) I may be able to bring them with me to Daisy's agility classes.
