Pet care experience
I consider myself a cat person, and I've been called a cat whisperer by friends and clients. I also love dogs! I grew up with both, and I understand how both species communicate. I've impressed friends and family with my ability to get dogs AND cats to learn behaviors like "sit" and "stay." I don't believe in "stupid" or "mean" animals--just misunderstood ones. With me, your pet will be treated with the respect and care they all deserve! If your pet allows it, I'm happy to provide simple maintenance such as brushing, nail-clipping, and dental hygiene in addition to potty breaks, feeding, and playing.

Eleanor watched my two cats while I was on vacation for 9 days. She did a wonderful job. She was very engaged and caring throughout the whole time, sending me daily photos and a summary each day. Eleanor loves cats and it shows. I would gladly hire Eleanor again.
Hershey needed a big walk to get out her energy and Eleanor came to the rescue. As always, she’s kind and timely and showed Hershey a great time. Will definitely have her back.
Eleanor is a fantastic dog sitter. She communicated with me consistently throughout her entire visit and sent many pictures of my pup Springer. She left my apartment the same way she found it, which was an added bonus! Will definitely be booking Eleanor again in the future.

On walks, I will ensure the safety of your dog and myself by ensuring I can physically handle any dog(s) I take on. I love big dogs, but I'm a small person. I will only take one client's dog(s) at a time. I will be sure to walk in safe areas, with your guidance. I will be sensitive to your dog's needs. If I visit your home for any length of time, I will leave it as good as (or better than!) I found it. Your pet(s) will always get clean bowls and a clean yard and/or litter box. Not to mention all the cuddles they want! I will always respect your pet's individual personality, needs, and boundaries. Every single one is special and deserves to be treated as such, in the way they like best.

Please let me know if your dog will try to chase things or if there's anything they're really scared of. Also: Do they like adult people? Children? Other dogs? Do they have any health concerns I need to be aware of?
A typical day
I love to walk in the natural areas in two nearby parks. There's plenty of shade and plenty of fun smells and obstacles for a dog to explore, plus open areas to run in (on-leash). One of my parks often has kids around, and the other does not, so I can please dogs who love attention and dogs who don't.
