Pet care experience
I have had a dog since I was 9 years old - he loves to go on long walks and play with other dogs. When younger he was attacked by another dog so I understand the need to be careful around other dogs and always to check whether the dogs are friendly first. From this situation I researched the signs for dogs who are becoming distressed. My dog also has anxiety about people so I have experience with dogs who need extra support. I also house sat my neighbours cats over weeks at a time so am use to being a constant in their lives. I have walked many dogs over the years especially when younger as I had a passion to become a vet so wanted to gain the confidence to work with new dogs each week. I have also volunteered at Kennels for two weeks over summer to experience other dogs needs and how to work with animals regardless the situation.
Reviews
Eleanor has looked after Alfie a couple of times now. She’s been great to organise with and he’s clearly been happy spending time with her.
We came home to a happy and relaxed dog (and he can be a very anxious chap!) after Eleanor was able to sit with him at super short notice. Thanks Eleanor. Highly recommended!
Great service from Eleanor despite multiple changes to my schedule. Very good communication, great manner with dogs and fantastic care. Noodle has come back tired and happy! What more could you ask for?
Ellie was amazing with our rambunctious 6-month old puppy. She was very patient with his quirks and he absolutely adored her. It was such a relief to have such experienced and capable care while we were away. Would definitely recommend her to anyone!

If your dog has any tendencies on the lead like they want to chase cats or any animals they see, if there are any warning signs the dog might start running and any favourite games and toys!
A typical day
I’ve had a few dogs as of late through rover stay for a day to a week at my house. We’ve played a lot of games and I’ve taken them for long walks to the botanical gardens where, if you’re comfortable, I’ll take them off lead and throw a ball around for them to chase and play! My rooms quite large so can have big dogs easily and have a common space they can explore as well! I love to play fetch with puppies and tug of war, they always end up winning! I can also help with training dogs. I did all the training with my dog at home and worked really well!
