My love and compassion for animals makes me a great caretaker for your dog(s). I get along with dogs really well (I'll confess I sometimes like dogs more than people), and I feel comfortable handling stressful situations and tending to their needs appropriately. I do want to mention that I live with my partner, Dave, who has similar sentiments towards dogs. Dave steps in and helps me care for dogs while they are here if and when I'm busy and/or not at home. Together, Dave and I will love your dog like he/she is our own and do our best to make sure you and your dog are happy with our service. I run and manage the Rover account, but you can count on both of us! For some background, I grew up in a family that cared for multiple dogs and cats. And while in high school, I worked at an animal hospital for two years as an assistant, which gave me experience in caring for all types of animals. Dave is a wildlife biologist and has a special talent for connecting with and caring for all animals. I have been living on my own for the past 8 years, during which I've owned and cared for two dogs. I have also helped care for other dogs and cats that have belonged to roommates. Dave and I have lived together for two years, during which we have cared for our 3 year old Australian Cattledog, named Kepler. She is very energetic, smart, and loves to play.
