Hi, I'm Ellie! Dogs have always been a passion of mine! I have a huge amount of experience, as I grew up in a. family that ran a dog rescue. I've owned dogs my whole life, and I have been taking care of dogs solo since I was in high school, and am experienced with all ages, from raising newborn puppies to very elderly dogs! I also am very aware of how to deal with emergencies, and what warning signs to look for in case of an emergency as a result of my rescue training. There were always at least 4 rescue dogs in my house at a time, and so I'm not only experienced with dogs from a personal pet standpoint, but am very experienced with meeting and taking care of any new dogs with lots of different needs and personalities. From all my years in the dog rescue world, dog care is second nature to me! I don’t have any problems feeding dogs, picking up after them, playing with them or giving them all the snuggles 🥰

Ellie is one of the most caring and generous dog moms I know. Ellie and her dog Billie share a special bond that any of her friends can clearly see. We often joke because the meals she prepares for Billie are even better than the ones she prepares for herself!

All dogs in my care have a safe and loving space to share. I work full time from home in a safe and calm home, and I have a 12lb friendly chihuahua who is just as excited to meet your pup as I am! I love dogs so much, and I treat them like royalty, and if your dog is with me they will be treated the same way like I would treat my own. Your dog will have lots of play time, both with me and with my little dog who loves friends, and all the cuddles and attention they want! I also have a very calm quiet environment if you have a nervous or older dog that just wants to get comfy and curl up on the couch with dog tv playing for them. I will never feed your dog anything that is not approved by you, but if you do approve treats I will absolutely be able to do so as well as give them enrichment puzzles to keep their mind sharp! I live in an apartment with a doggy potty area, and am a block away from a beautiful public park, and I will provide frequent potty breaks and even sunshine bathing time on my balcony if your pup likes! I even have a dog stroller for dogs with disabilities or elderly pups that can't walk very far and still want fresh air! My apartment is very secure and clean (and full of dog toys) and the complex is very safe. your dog's safety is my priority! You will also receive lots of fun photos, videos, updates, and general communication from me during your pet's booking with me for your peace of mind. Your dog will be so spoiled here with me!

Please let me know: -If your dog has any special needs, allergies, or dietary restrictions that I should account for -Your Pet's usual daily schedule -If I am okay feeding your dogs treats -Is your pet housetrained? - Is your pet okay being around other dogs? I unfortunately cannot accept dogs that can be aggressive towards other dogs or people, or resource guard food or toys, as I have a small dog in the home that I also need to protect. P.S. If your pup gets a bit overstimulated or reactive sometimes that is okay! I just need to know so I create a calm environment for them to relax. :) -What are your dog's favorite toys? Ways they like to have fun? Snacks they enjoy?
A typical day
I will do for your dog what I do with my dog! I will be taking your pup on regular potty breaks, as well as short walks to the park near me and sniff to their hearts content and bark up every tree they see squirrels in! I also like to take dogs for short car rides for extra changes of scenery, and to any place which has nice scenery for an interesting walk. On weekdays, I am able to do a bit less than on the weekends, but we still get our walks/potty breaks in, as well as lots of little playtimes scattered throughout the day. I have a billion different toys for your pup to play with, and my dog will also love to play with your baby! Dog TV is on all day if your pup just wants to lounge around and watch, as well as sitting on the balcony and taking in the fresh air and sunshine. I give my dog 2-3 enrichment treat puzzles a day and am happy to do so for your pup as well:)

I work from home full time, so your dog will have my full attention! Since I WFH, I am fairly flexible with pick up and Drop off times for all different schedules.
