Pet care experience
Animals are precious and I’ve been fortunate enough to be surrounded by them all my life. I’ve raised 2 puppies through adolescence and have lots of experience with large, medium and small dogs. I understand anxiety as I’ve had an anxious pooch, I also have experience with rescues, and I fully believe in positive reinforcement. I am a gentle handler and want to help guardians with care for their doggos so they can rest, holiday or help build their dog’s confidence.

I have known Ellie for many years and in that time she has often cared for my dogs. They've grown such a close and special bond with her that they don't have with many people. And I for one, feel completely reassured they are in the safest possible hands when they're with her. Ellie is great with training and really responsive to any reactiveness dogs have. I know she treats my girls with the same love, care and attention as she would if they were her own.

I have a fully fenced garden, and a ground floor flat that’s pet friendly. The street is residential and quiet. At all times respect the guardian’s wishes in their own home, and also their preferences in my own home.

My preference is for dogs that are comfortable with public transport, and cars. I have a lot of experience with +1 to Senior dogs. Happy to support with puppies but would need to understand their needs and behaviours so I can be confident that I am a peaceful addition to their development.
A typical day
Depending on their needs the day usually starts with a long walk in the morning, mental stimulation and regulation being key. If there’s a weekend I tend to explore The Heath, Epping Forest or Regents Park - local park being Clissold. I like to understand what each need, and accommodate accordingly.

Availability
On weekdays I typically work from home 3 days a week and the days are flexible; typically this means Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I can also do weekends if the calendar states I’m available I enjoy helping at weekends too.
