Pet care experience
I have a long history of being around and caring for dogs. Our family pets have included: a white German Shepherd named Helga, a Great Dane named K'tonnah, Lexie, a Great Dane, Sophie the English Mastiff, and finally Theo, another Great Dane. As you can tell I have an affinity for the giants, but I adore the little ones as well! Additionally, I have helped train and care for a number of family and friends' pets, from a pair of Maltese furballs to a giant fluffy Bouvier des Flandres. I have an especially good report with skittish and shy dogs, being able to connect with them and gain their trust. I have a lot of patience and a lot of love to offer furry friends of all ages, shapes, and sizes!

When caring for a pet at your home, I am careful to learn each owner’s rules regarding their pet and usage of the house, such as whether the yard is fenced in or not, furniture rules, and rules regarding off-limits areas of the house. I am comfortable with crating dogs when out of the house or overnight if that is the owner’s preference.

I prefer large breeds but am always open for love and caring of little ones. Before dog sitting, it is important to know if they have any special needs such as medications or difficulty with hearing/vision. It is also appreciative to know ahead of time if the dog is shy or skittish or has a history of abuse (for a rescue, for example) so as to know the proper ways to approach those pets.
A typical day
Walks through the neighborhood are always a must but there are excellent parks and dog parks in the area to explore. I am an excellent companion for games of tug of war and fetch.

I work remotely so I am flexible when it comes to availability and adaptability to pet routines, and I am able to spend more time with your pet under those circumstances.
