Two sitters for the price of one! My partner and I are flexible, dependable and experienced dog lovers. With two rescue pups of our own, we live a life full of wet noses and slobbery kisses. Kahlo, our 5-year old rat terrier, is the jock of the family and is constantly playing fetch. We love finding new games to challenge her. Ida, our mystery-lab mix puppy, is a recent addition to the family. She is the star of every dog park and off-leash beach we can find. She makes friends quickly and is always ready for tug-of-war. Catie and I found Rover.com shortly after moving to the Bay Area and it has been such a positive experience that we decided to become sitters ourselves! Both of us work from home (or anywhere with an internet connection). Our flexible schedules allow us to be attentive and present for all your dog's needs. But, maybe with a bit more snuggling. :) Before adopting our own fur-babies, we both fostered all types of dogs--from big pit mixes to teeny miniature pinschers! Some were easy-going puppies that needed basic training, while others were coping with hurtful pasts. Regardless, each dog required attentiveness and patience. Our own rescue pup, Kahlo, was displaying aggressive behavior when we adopted her. We attended various training classes and are familiar with positive reinforcement and clicker training. Our experience with Kahlo prepared us to work with more sensitive dogs or those with special needs. Why I love dog sitting Catie grew up with dogs and has always felt a special connection with them. She even fostered dogs during college before she could adopt one of her own. Elane loves animals of all kinds and even had a sheep named Dave as a teenager.
