When I was 8 years old, I had a dog themed birthday party and had my moment of fame featured in the local SPCA magazine. In middle school, I did a research project on how humans know what kind of food and flavors dogs like and created my own dog biscuit recipe. Above all else, I am a dog lover. In college my roommate had a dog who I walked and fed (and cuddled) while she was away at classes. Having a dog myself for the past fifteen years, I have spent hours on walks and in dog parks, prepared yummy bowls of food, given plenty of belly rubs, and thrown lots of balls. My dog is now old and dealing with a few illnesses so I am also sensitive to elderly dogs' needs like walking slower or preparing special food. I love my little dog so much and will bring that love to caring for and walking yours.
