My home is not the ideal environment for puppies and/or high-energy dogs. Thank you! ☺️ Are you looking for: -A quiet, stress-free environment for your dog to stay? -A caretaker who has experience with seniors and/or needier dogs? I’ve got you covered!! 🙂 My dog Timber is a chill senior, and he is my LIFE! Timber is a lounger/snoozer. He gets excited for treats, to go outside, to hunt for lizards, and for the occasional visitor (mostly just Door Dash). He squeaks his toy from time to time, and sometimes he (we) will sing along. But nine out of 10 times, he’s content on the couch, keeping me company, binging on Netflix. We keep it pretty chill around here. I have the best company. ❤️ I’ve had Timber since he was nine months old and I love him more and more each day. He has a fun personality and will engage with your dog for a bit, but then tends to do his own thing. He doesn’t play rough due to his old-man hips. He tends to get along better with dogs who are less dominant. So, if you have senior, or if your dog is just an old soul who would prefer a calmer setting, s/he should come hang with us. I will pamper your dog with treats, belly rubs, kisses, and butt scratches - that is a PROMISE! ——————————— I have worked at the following facilities in the past: -A doggy daycare in Danbury, CT, called Wags -A doggy daycare here in Charlotte (formerly known as Club K9) -Hambright Animal Hospital in Huntersville, where I used to work on the boarding and daycare side of things. I also stood in as a vet tech every once in a while! (PS - HAH is awesome, so if you are looking for a vet, I highly recommend checking them out!) I am also an approved foster for both Animal Control and the Humane Society. I have fostered two dogs in the last year. I do love all dogs, but it’s the seniors that really tug at my heartstrings. If you have a senior like I do, I want to be there for your dog. I’ll go to the gym and run errands here and there, but other than that, I don’t stray too far from home. You can expect that I will be home after work and on the weekends because I genuinely WANT to be!
