I've had pets for ages, cats & dogs. Right now I don't have any, home is lacking! I have a special heart for smaller dogs!

Elaine took great care of our spirited chihuahua. She has a great backyard and sent us a daily picture and update. Elaine has a calm demeanor and seems to really understand what dogs need to feel safe.

I have a large fenced in back yard, dogs seem to love roaming in it! I prefer to crate at night and I always crated my dog when leaving home. I find dogs seem more secure when crated. But have allowed dogs to sleep on my bed.

I need to know if they have special needs, any behavior issues that I need to take into account. Any medications they need to take? Do they have problems with separation anxiety? Are they crate trained? What food do they eat, how often do you feed them.
A typical day
Taking dogs outside is totally on my agenda for watching dogs. Or playing ball with them. Some dogs just want to sleep! My dog that I lost in 2020, I had spent time teaching him to do tricks...fun for us both. Cats tend to be more independent, you can brush them (for a little) and play with cat toys with them...they just like to hang out on their terms. I've had cats in the past and have watched my daughters cats recently.
