Pet care experience
I have had dogs since a child. We love having company during the day! I have owned dogs, horses, cats, tortoises, rabbits, zebra finches, cockatiels, canaries and guinea pigs. Animals through and through! We do not now own any pets.

Elaine was absolutely fantastic with Poppy. It was her first stay and I was fairly nervous, but Elaine ensured I had very frequent updates on how Poppy was doing and the adventures they’d gone on. I really loved being able to see and know that Poppy was having the best time. I was able to enjoy my time away and come back home to a very happy dog! Thank you so much :)
Highly recommended. Elaine’s care for our dog went above and beyond, he made new friends, was given lovely days out to the beach, treated with care when poorly 😷, was given plenty of treats, and best of all was given lots of love and cuddles. We can’t recommend high enough.
Ziggy just returned from his first stay with Elaine and Nick. He could not have been happier. They were so caring and kind. They managed his extra needs perfectly and I felt he was in safe hands. Thank you again.
Dali has just had his first overnighter with Elaine and Nick. It could not have been better. Elaine is warm and welcoming and Dali(who can be a bit nervous meeting new.people) took to her immediately. Lots of pics and updates throughout the stay showed how comfortable he was and how Elaine made him part of their family. I was greeted the next morning by a very happy and relaxed dog. I would highly recommend Elaine and will.definitely book again.

Safe open plan home. Fully secure large garden. Plenty of good walks nearby. Will adjust to dogs needs in most cases. Prefer dogs not to expect to sleep on our bed but happy for them to sleep in room on their beds. Dogs must be fully house trained.

I would prefer dogs who are happy to sleep downstairs but if this upsets their routine will have them in the bedroom but in their beds! Accidents happen I know but dogs should be fully house trained. Please always provide a profile of your pet as arranging meet and greets is sometimes too late to find out about the required care for your dog. If I get a request and there is no detail provided at all, I will respond with a request to add a profile.
A typical day
This would normally involve an early morning walk of around an hour midweek and weekends a teatime walk of 20 mins and a late evening walk around the block of 15 mins. Of course, this is flexible to suit your dogs needs. During the working week there will be plenty of time for one on one, free time in our fully enclosed garden and evening will be chilling out! We do like to take dogs to our local dog friendly pub.

I work 4 days a week full time but from home. I am allowed plenty of breaks for cuddle time due to a health issue that will not affect the care of your dog. Your dog will never be left alone. Expect three walks a day morning teatime and late evening (or your schedule if preferred) and toilet breaks in our large enclosed garden every couple of hours. As I am at home, doggies can go in the secure garden whenever they want to. I live less than a 10 minute walk from Pennington Flash country park. Ideal!
