I've always had dogs - springer spaniel, poodle, two labs and a terrier. I work from home (even when there isn't a pandemic happening!) so have a flexible schedule and love going for walks in the middle of the day. I'm happy to provide pills and I don't worry about occasional accidents. Your dog would get the run of the house and a large (for the city) fenced in backyard. I live in a quiet neighborhood in St. Paul. I currently have a four-year old black lab rescue who loves other dogs and is eager to play but seems to understand his boundaries too. I've housed several older dogs who needed a lot of attention, as well as friends' dogs over the years. I'm doing this because it's fun and my dog loves the company. I do require an overnight 'trial run' or at least an afternoon (4+ hour) visit before booking any stay of more than 5 days to make sure it's a good fit for everyone. You do need to provide proof of standard vaccinations prior to your dog's stay.
