My Dog And I Want Weekend Company!

Welcome to our pet-loving family! We would love to have your dog come and stay with us for the weekend -- Friday nights through Monday mornings we are available. There's me, my 5 year old twins, and my 9 year old who will spoil your baby rotten while they're here. We have 2 cats who like dogs but probably will stay away (but cat friendly dogs only, please), and our pit mix, Archie. Archie loves having doggie company. We have fostered dogs and cats before, and he is always delighted to have a new friend to hang with. We do have a large kennel if you prefer your dog kenneled at night, but we are fans of dogs on the bed with us! We have a very small fenced in concrete space for nighttime outings, but we like long walks at the Wissahickon or around the neighbourhood. Let us spoil your dog while you have a weekend away with peace of mind.

With less than 24 hr notice, Elaine and her family did a wonderful job taking care of my Chihuahua Schnauzer mix, Jordan. He can be nervous in new environments and was very comfortable with Elaine and her dog Archie. She has a very warm personality and she sent me lots of pictures to make sure I was comfortable and aware of how things were going. She definitely loves animals, is very attentive, and understands how to take care of them (and their owners)! I highly recommend Elaine, especially if your dog is a lap dog like mine!
Elaine took care of my cockapoo Riley for a week. He tends to get anxious when new people take care of him and he has to be away from our family, but he came home from Elaine's house as happy as could be. I could tell he was happily exhausted from frequent walks and runs, his favorite activities. I highly recommend Elaine.
Elaine is a true dog lover and very experienced caring for animals. She grew up with dogs and has been raising a beautiful, well-adjusted Pitbull since puppyhood. Animals recognize her connection with them and quickly become attached to her. She is very comfortable around dogs of all breeds, sizes, and stages of life. She is a busy mom of three dog-loving kids and an avid runner, so any dog would be guaranteed a visit full of activity, attention, and love. I would leave my pups with her ANY time!
Elaine's dog sitting service offers good old fashioned wholesome fun. I have an older beagle named Sienna who Elaine has dog sat many times. Sienna was always happy to go over. Elaine was attentive and treated Sienna like a member of her family. The children were great companions for Sienna. Sienna loved all the attention.

We love all breeds!!! But we are strong pitbull advocates and welcome your bully breeds. Archie and my kids are good with exuberant dogs, and also good and very gentle with senior dogs. Archie particularly enjoys small dogs; his real life BFF is a chihuahua! Dropoff is between 5 and 9 pm, and pickup is before 11am. If you pick up your dog after 11am, you will be charged for an extra day. I need time to turn over my house for the next client, and appreciate your cooperation!
A typical day
We love walks around the neighbourhood, and also going down to the Wissahickon. We also have a dog park within walking distance if your dog is allowed at dog parks - we would never go there without your permission!
