Elaine and her husband did a great job, kept in touch, and kept our dog safe, Pete Matter

Elaine is fantastic, and is the only person I will ever let watch my dog. I have a 2 year old German Shepherd, and I actually used to avoid going to far on trips because I couldn't take my girl, Effy, with me. I used to run a veterinary clinic, and have seen the awful things that happen with doggie day care, pet sitters, boarding kennels. I was never able to allow myself to let someone else take care of my girl, or put into a kennel. Not to mention the diseases that can be spread from all of that. I am one of those crazy dog parents who if my dog stopped eating, I will go to the grocery store and get her a filet mignon immediately to remedy the issue. (Effy then discovered if she waits on her dog food, she will get steak...to smart for her own good) In moving to Texas for a career, I found that I didn't have an option on not traveling anymore. Elaine was heaven sent. I was able to have her check on my girl multiple times a day. She did everything I asked! I have heard the number of excuses where people say their sitter "forgot". Effy has quite a few gastrointestinal issues, that if she eats something weird, or highly stressed she will stop eating, and have diarrhea. With Elaine, Effy had no issues what so ever for the whole week. Even when I am home with my girl, we usually have an issue ourselves. Also I had daily updates, and photos from Elaine. She has her own pets, and its obvious she knows the right way to work with pets. It made the trip much more relaxing, and so much stress is gone because I have finally found someone to care for my girl like her own. I will now be working my traveling plans around Elaine's schedule!
