Pet care experience
Hi everyone, I have been around animals all my life and can most often be found petting someone's dog! I grew up with a toy poodle and she was the best thing that ever happened to our family. Since she passed away several years ago, I have been forever trying to get a new dog but the timing hasn't been right. Since I can't get another puppy right now, I mainly care for friends dogs. Rover is a great way for me to still interact with animals and care for someone else's dog as I did my own. I love being around dogs and hope to fill my life with lots of rover animals! I am located in NYC, very energetic and compassionate. I would say I have about 15 years of pet care experience (with both a family dog and watching other dogs), I am available for overnight stays, morning or night walks and weekends as well. I live minutes from Washington Square dog park, the west side highway walkway and a quick train to central park.

Elaina is an extremely caring and responsible dog sitter, for dogs of all ages. She took great care of my puppy several times throughout his first year, making sure he got plenty of play time, bathroom breaks, cuddles and naps. She also knows what behaviors to encourage and discourage. I can not recommend her more strongly and hope to have her walk and sit for me again soon!
It is with great pleasure that I recommend Elaina. She is a dependable, compassionate and responsible person who really cares for her clients (the pets) and their owners. I have used her dog walking service during the week week while I was working during the day. She would come to my apartment around noon to let our dogs out to play and walk them. My dog really loves her!!
Tucker is typically very skiddish and takes awhile to warm up to people but he LOVES Elaina. She’s so great with him and I know that he’s safe and happy when she takes care of him.
Elaina is a loving caring person . She is very responsible and dependable. Baxter can’t wait to see Elaina every time she takes care of him.
