I am a huge dog lover and have had dogs my whole life thus having experience with all sized dogs. I have a lab mix, Luna, who will be turning 5 this November and adopted her in the fall of 2017. She has been one of the best additions in my life and has become my other half. When I adopted her she was found on the highway, so the first few months we experienced some behavioral issues, but with training we have overcome them. I was able to potty train her, teach her commands (sit, paw, lay down, wait to eat, stay), and significantly improved her walk on a leash after many months of positive reinforcement. Every animal is different and it is important to cater to each of their needs appropriately. I will ensure your pet is given the most love and attention from me!

I allow my dog to roam free in my home and she sleeps with me in my bed every night. However, based on your dogs needs, I will ensure your dog is crated if that is your wish and I am able to stay overnight with your pet if needed. I do not allow others pets around my dog anymore though because she was unfortunately attacked on a walk this past year and is now highly anxious around other animals, so I will not be able to have your pet brought to my home unfortunately!

A typical day
I love to take my dog on walks and am more than happy to do that for your dog. I love taking her on walks at the park so she can take in the smells and scenery. I am not a huge fan of walking dogs on busy streets, so I try to go to more park like areas. Additionally, I have found that mental stimulation is amazing for my dog so I have a licking mat that I freeze bananas or peanut butter on and she licks them for stimulation or a sniffle toy. The sniffle toy is used to stimulate the dogs noise and they have to find the treats hidden within the toy. I am more than happy to bring and let your dog try these toys too!

I recently graduated from James Madison University with a Bachelor of science (Health sciences - pre-medicine track). I was recently hired to start work on the 20th full time, so following the 20th will only be available after 5pm or the weekends.
