My extended family had a habit of buying dogs and not realizing how much work they were, so they would give them to us. We had all sorts of breeds (schnauzer, Chihuahua, german Shepard/chow mix, golden retriever, chorkie, boxer, shih tzu to name a few). And not just dogs, we had parakeets, hamsters, a cat, and at one point chickens. We've even nursed baby squirrels that have been separated from their mom. So I'm no stranger to Mess (even had to put a diaper on our chorkie mix for her menstrual cycle) it doesn't bother me. Especially since I also have three younger siblings. Growing up I still have a huge love for animals. Whenever there's a cat that needs a home I've become the go to person. I've fostering three kittens at once, bottle fed a newborn kitten abandoned by the mom, and saved cats that were stuck in a car. I haven't had my own dog yet unfortunately but I'm hoping to change that soon! Doing rover helps to fill that gap in my life. I have two cats right down and I would literally take a bullet for them. They're incredibly spoiled. I make a batch of food from scratch for them every week.
