Pet care experience
I was the kid at parties petting and befriending dogs and cats that “usually don’t like anybody”! I have 21+ years of experience working with companion and farm animals as a pet parent, veterinary assistant, and animal sciences major. I have also completed 200+ dog walks and 10+ pet sittings both personally and on other apps. My philosophy is that most animals are friendly when they feel seen and cared for, and their individual personality is acknowledged and respected. I specialize in senior dog and cat care and can administer medications and meet your pet’s individual needs. I believe senior pets need more gentle and individualized care. I am currently in graduate school and have two pets, Georgia (lab mix) and Eva (DSH cat). Eileen is so incredibly sweet and our dogs fell in love with her. One of our dogs is shy and can be a bit reserved when first meeting someone and he took to Eileen right away. Her calm and nurturing presence put my boyfriend and I at ease and feel so lucky and happy we found her. She is wonderful and can’t wait to work with her again!
Eileen always goes above and beyond and is so helpful. She was available over Christmas, and even did mouth rinses with my kitty who was having a dental issue. She was a total lifesaver, especially this time of year!
Eileen is the best. She takes wonderful care of our three cats and showers them with genuine affection!

I believe healthy, adult dogs should be taken out at least every 4-6 hours and that a routine is important. I am experienced with walking dogs long distances, medication administration, and understanding dog behavior. I walk dogs based on their needs and will walk faster for more energetic dogs and slower for senior dogs.

A typical day
I enjoy walking dogs to fun places nearby whether that is the beach, park, dog park (if permitted), etc. My dog is also very friendly and I have had people approve a dog play date with her as well!
