Dogs are my kind of people. Everyone I sit for says I really “get” their dog. Dogs are like people, quirky with their own likes and dislikes. I love befriending dogs, figuring out how to win their hearts even while they miss their parents. I make sure every dog who stays with me has a happy time. I’ve had two Boxers and a Patterdale Terrier, all who I trained with the guidance of The Monks Of New Skete. Just now I don’t have a dog so pampering your pet will be my focus. I am a fitness coach and massage therapist and I am learning massage for dogs. I’ll be sure to do a lot of practice with your beloved beauty while your dog is in my care.

Eileen was very attentive and supportive to Cece who struggles with separation anxiety. She gave me regular updates and Cece seemed very happy staying with her. Would recommend!
Eileen is a remarkable host that provided so much attention to my Ollie. She continually provided updates with pictures for an overnight stay, and I would gladly look her up again if I needed to use Rover again.

Eileen was absolutely wonderful! She took amazing care of our dogs and kept us connected with plenty of updates while we were away. It was clear they got all the time, attention, and love they needed. She was easy to communicate with, and we felt completely at ease. Our dogs can’t wait to go back!
Eileen is wonderfully attentive. She is also a great communicator, sending lots of pictures and updates, which was really reassuring. Her backyard is fun for dogs and very safe. She had up to three dogs when we boarded our dog and they were all very playful with each other, which made it really fun for Frankie (our dog) who is quite social. I think Frankie got a lot out of it. When I picked her up after our vacation, she pawed and snuggled Eileen to let me know that she was a very special person. I'm sure Frankie would love to visit Eileen again. Eileen was also great with my seven-year old who asked a lot of questions and is very protective of her dog. :)

Schedule
Each day starts at 8am. with an hour or more of exercise either off leash in prospect park (I’m just 10 minutes away), taking a long walk on the leash, playing in my backyard or going to the community South Slope Dog Run (also just 2 blocks from my house). When your dog is in my care I am 100% devoted to their needs. I’ll be with them 24/7.

Through out the day and before bedtime you can count on photos and updates so that you can know your dog is having as much fun with me as you are having on your vacation.
A typical day
My backyard is just a fantastic resource with the dogs! It’s big and beautiful and dogs love it. There are overgrown places to explore and dig a hole and cobblestones for sunbathing. Summer or Winter there’s always fun to be had in my private outdoor space. I like to break the day up with getting out for walks, having little destinations like dog beach or getting a treat from the pet store.
