A great home for your best friend

Pet care experience

I do a lot of work from home (I'm a nurse by trade, but working more on my business as a private yoga instructor), so I'm here all the time. This means your dogs will have someone with them the majority of the time, which is especially good for dogs that struggle with separation anxiety. My husband is usually gone, but when he is here we love to take long walks with our pups. There are two dogs currently living here, so there will be friends to play with. We also have lots of room, so dogs can have their own quiet space if they do not like to be around other dogs. I know it can be especially scary in a new place. The dogs can be walked if that is requested, as our dogs go on walks and car rides fairly often. We love to feel the wind in our hair. ;) Otherwise we do have a decent sized fenced backyard. When the dogs are in the backyard, I am back there with them. The fence is sturdy, but I've had the experience of a fence jumper (my own dog) a long time ago, and remember the terror of coming outside to a missing dog. I never leave them alone outside. I have a couple crates that are always open and serve as safe places for dogs that don't feel like company. They are closed only when we need to leave the house, or if an owner specifies that their dogs sleeps in a crate at night. Otherwise, dogs are welcome to sleep in our room in their beds, and they have free roam of the house during the day. I don't take many clients at a time, so I can offer this type of personal care. I like to make your baby feel welcome in our pack while you're away. We live in a two story house, so dogs can be separated if needed. Everyone here is friendly, even if it takes a little while to sniff each other out.

Eileen was awesome. She stayed at our house and watched our 2 great Danes. She sent pics and loved on then while we were gone. Highly recommend her!

Eileen was great with my crazy pups! We have a full house and everyone was very well taken care of and happy when we arrived home. I received photos of all my dogs while we were away and would definitely use Eileen again!

Eileen was fabulous! She came over to meet the dogs, ask questions and familiarize herself with the dogs routines. She was comfortable with both of our dogs, a 5yr old and 6 month puppy. We appreciated her stopping by the hous to give them water and food. She kept in contact during each visit with photos and an update on their behavior and how they were adjusting while we were out of town. It was a relief knowing they were in good hands and being taken care of. Thanks again and we can't wait for Eileen to watch our dogs again!

A typical day

Our dogs roam around the house and have loads of toys to play with. They share very well. We like to have cuddle time during the evenings, while watching a bit of tv. During the day, we go for walks or hikes. Yuki likes to practice her tricks for treats. Lilly like to cuddle and sleep. There is someone here 90% of the time. We can definitely make arrangements to be home 100% if we have a dog staying over, as we can leave for shopping on other days. I can adapt to your style of dog watching and follow your dog's routine, if you have any special requests.
