Ive been dog obsessed for as long as I can remember. As a kid in my free time I would beg my mom to drive me to volunteer at local dog shelters and I eventually became the neighborhood dog sitter, walker and even groomer not shortly after. I spent several years researching dog breeds and behavior and my parents finally agreed to let me get a puppy at the age of sixteen. I chose to rescue a four week old golden retriever puppy who had been taken away from her family much too young and needed extra care. I had to hand feed her and give her medication for the first few weeks of her life and spent endless hours on training. I also now have an eight year old mutt who is the sweetest boy with the biggest personality :)! I’ve spent my whole life around every kind of dog big and small and am very confident dealing with even the most high energy dogs.
